Building Futures at RMIT University careers day

Yesterday, we were delighted to continue our partnership with RMIT University in attending the Semester 1 Careers Day, hosted by the School of Property, Construction and Project Management at the iconic Storey Hall in Melbourne’s CBD.

With over 49 companies in attendance, the event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with students and emerging professionals exploring their next steps in the construction industry. Our team enjoyed engaging in conversations and sharing insights into the diverse roles and exciting projects at Building Engineering.

Stephen Doufas (Cadet), David Waters (Commercial Manager), Josh van der Gaag (Senior Estimator), and Rachel Richter (Head of Marketing) represented us on the day. They were all passionate about supporting the next generation of talent and showcasing the various career pathways within our industry.

While the focus was on networking and sharing real-world experiences, there was also strong interest in our Graduate Program. Designed for recent graduates, the program offers hands-on experience across key departments, including estimating, project delivery and design coordination – and has been a launchpad for many successful careers within our business.
