Celebrating Amani Eljari’s journey from Contract Administrator to Project Manager
We’re thrilled to announce the well-deserved promotion of Amani Eljari to Project Manager! Amani, who has been a cornerstone of our team for over six years, is now leading the Santa Maria College Stage 2 Learning Village project.
Amani joined us as a fresh graduate and, for more than five years, excelled as a Contract Administrator (CA), bringing precision and organisation to every project.
Amani reflects on her journey with us:

Project Highlights
Amani has been instrumental in over ten projects with Building Engineering, including the Town Hall Broadmeadows Redevelopment, Padua College Performing Arts Centre, and the St Kevin’s Glendalough Stage 1 & 2 project. She loves watching her projects come to life and seeing end users enjoy their new spaces.
Currently, Amani is delivering the Santa Maria College Stage 2 Learning Village project. Her commitment to excellence, which earned her a promotion to Project Manager two months ago, continues to fuel our projects and ignite positive change within our industry.
Favourite part about Building Engineering:
“The people – there is a great work culture where you can ask anyone for help or advice. Also, the opportunity for growth is better than in other companies. Many people, including myself, start as grads and then rise through the ranks to contract administrators and project managers.”
Proudest moments / significant achievements:
“Finishing projects and seeing the end users enjoying the spaces. Being part of the women in construction initiatives such as the 500 Women in Property Program 2023, ProcurePro Women in Construction Webinar, and the St Columba’s Women in Construction pilot.”
