Meet Lauren Grech: Graduate at Building Engineering

We are thrilled to spotlight Lauren Grech, a talented graduate who has embarked on a promising journey with Building Engineering. Lauren’s story is a testament to her dedication and the exceptional opportunities our graduate program provides.

Lauren’s academic journey began at RMIT University, where she pursued a Bachelor of Project Management. Her exceptional performance and dedication caught our attention through the Employer of Choice program at RMIT, leading to her joining us as a cadet during her studies. This early connection with us demonstrated her eagerness to dive into the industry and gain hands-on experience.

Lauren recently achieved a significant milestone by being accepted into our Graduate program. This 18-month, full-time program is a testament to our commitment to offering graduates comprehensive exposure to multiple departments within our business, including construction and estimating. The diversity of the program, which ensures that our graduates gain a well-rounded understanding of the industry, is a key feature of our training approach.

Lauren shared her enthusiasm about the program, “I really enjoy the diversity of the program. I get to see the full spectrum of the industry from pre-construction to delivery.” Her passion for learning and her proactive approach has been evident from the start.

One of Lauren’s first major challenges was working on her first tender and navigating this new process, which required determination and creativity. With the unwavering support of her team and her ability to think outside the box, Lauren tackled the challenge head-on. Her growth and learning during this period have been impressive, and she continues to expand her skills with every project.

Lauren’s dedication, innovative thinking, and commitment to excellence embody the values we cherish at Building Engineering.

Over to you, Lauren!
