Milestone celebration: topping out at Building Engineering’s Regis Aged Care project in Camberwell

Building Engineering, in collaboration with Regis Aged Care and HSPC Health Architects, reached a significant milestone with the topping-out ceremony for their residential aged care home located in Camberwell. The event marked the completion of the structural phase of the project, which is set to provide a modern and spacious senior living environment in the heart of Camberwell.

The residential aged care home, developed in close partnership with Regis Aged Care, has been designed to meet stringent town planning requirements and complement the existing surroundings, enhancing the amenities of the locale.

The home will boast 113 resident bedrooms spread across a contemporary four-level complex. Each bedroom has been thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable and spacious living space for its occupants, complete with ensuite facilities. This focus on individual comfort underscores the commitment to providing the highest quality of care to residents.

The upper level of the building will be a highlight, featuring expansive communal areas where residents can socialise, relax, and partake in a variety of activities. Additionally, the facility will offer extra services and several studio apartments to accommodate the diverse needs of its residents.

Chris Doufas Director of Building Engineering, expressed his pride in the project, saying, “This topping out ceremony signifies a crucial step in delivering a state-of-the-art aged care home that will cater to the unique needs of residents in Camberwell. We are proud to collaborate with Regis Aged Care and HSPC Health Architects to create a space that sets a new standard for contemporary aged care living.”

The Regis Aged Care project in Camberwell is a testament to the commitment to providing a nurturing, safe, and welcoming environment for the elderly in our community. The project is on track to transform the aged care landscape in Melbourne, offering residents the quality of life and care they deserve.

The topping-out ceremony marks a significant step forward in bringing this vision to life. As construction progresses, anticipation is building for the opening of this impressive home, which is scheduled for 2024.
