Team building at full speed: Ace Karts thrills for our racing enthusiasts!

Last Thursday, our team shifted gears and got their race on at Ace Karts in Albion. It was an adrenaline-fueled day of team bonding and high-octane fun! After a year of anticipation, everyone was itching to showcase their driving skills, and they did not disappoint. From fast-paced cornering to precision overtaking, the competition was fierce as we chased down podium finishes.

Big congratulations to our winner of the day, Chris “Verstappen” Morrison, who lived up to his nickname with a dominant performance on the track. His flawless driving and expert manoeuvres had the rest of us eating dust! Not far behind, Amande Falcao and Matt Phillips raced their way to well-deserved second and third places, respectively, exhibiting impressive F1-like precision throughout the course. Amande and Matt kept the heat on Chris until the chequered flag.

The event was not just about the competition—there were many laughs, camaraderie, and friendly rivalries. It was a fantastic chance for the team to unwind, have fun, and build connections outside the usual day-to-day at Building Engineering.

Congratulations again to Chris, Amande, and Matt for their slick driving, and a huge thanks to everyone who participated and made the day such a success! We can’t wait for the next opportunity to rev up our engines and enjoy another thrilling team event.
