Innovate, construct, excel: the Building Engineering Graduate Program
Semester 2 of the RMIT School of Property, Construction, and Project Management Careers Day was held last week at RMIT’s historic Storey Hall Building at the RMIT City Campus.
With over 64 companies in attendance, our team is thrilled to continue to support this fantastic event.

Chris joined Building Engineering as a Cadet in 2015 and following the completion of the Graduate Program and has since progressed to the role of Project Manager. Chris is currently managing the St Kevin’s College Glendalough project.
“Immediate acceptance. That sums up my experience since joining the Bldg.Eng team as a Cadet while still completing my degree. The open-door policy from the directors and senior staff has allowed me to advance my knowledge quickly. The variety of exposure, from estimating to visiting the site and the construction phase and seeing projects through to completion has been immense. The social scene and work-life balance have also been amazing, lots of fun events.”
The Building Engineering Graduate Program equips individuals with the essential skills for cultivating a successful career in the field of construction. Renowned as one of the most esteemed graduate programs within the industry, this program is designed for emerging professionals who have recently completed a bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or architecture.
Spanning over a period of 18 months, the Building Engineering Graduate Program offers participants a comprehensive experience that spans various departments of the business, encompassing areas including estimation and construction.
This program empowers graduates with firsthand exposure and practical engagement in diverse aspects of the construction realm – from cost assessment to project execution – all under the mentorship of a dynamic and proficient team of construction experts.
