Major construction and refurbishment works have enabled the historic Broadmeadows Town Hall to once again be enjoyed by the community, and support the creation of local jobs.
This project has been highly collaborative with a significant focus on the diverse community users and the context of the building being in the heart of Melbourne.
This landmark is an exemplar of the enhancement of an existing building. The revitalisation of this suburban civic gem retains the strength and clarity of the distinctive and culturally significant 1960s building while adapting to provide practical and modern spaces the entire community can utilise.
Tailored to meet the needs of local residents, community groups, council, and businesses in Broadmeadows, the building includes a large-scale conference, events, and seminar hall, art gallery and exhibition space, meeting rooms, business incubator space, and modern flexible office facilities for more than 200 workers.
